Meet Prince Charming aka Prince!!! He is a 8 yr old, (February 19th, 2018 being his birthday.) 16hh on the dot OTTB. He has done a lot from English, to jumping, to trail riding, to bareback, to bit-less work, to going in just a neck rope/a lead rope, to showmanship work, to working with kids including under saddle and kids/people newer to horses/riding including under saddle. He has also gone to a some shows including a schooling show last early March and high school Equestrian Team this past fall making it to regionals. The best word I could use to describe his personality is puppy. He is just the most sweet, nice, kindhearted horse who loves attention. He also has a soft spot for kids. Along with that, he also is very gentle and careful with people and other animals including cats, dogs, donkeys, ponies, and horses. (Loves dogs.) Under saddle he is amazing. He is very well tempered and not spooky at all. Getting him straight off the track (My first ride on him was 5 days after his last race.) a few big things I have been on about is how we handle things that are new and we may not like. So whenever he does not like something which is super and very rare I always have us stop, take a breath, observe, and slowly walk up to whatever it is rewarding each step even if we have to stop until we can touch it/smell it which is an awesome and valuable trait to have in a horse because you will never have to worry about any blowups which is one of the reasons he is so safe. I have also never been able to frustrate this horse even when learning which has made him the perfect horse for us to grow together. He always tries his hardest to learn, understand, at it shows, he loves his job. He is also extremely calm and shows. He can collect and extend at all gaits, making him able to be a smooth ride when wanted or a floaty ride when wanted. He also has a very nice lead change along with a very nice scopey jump. He is very honest. No vices, stands nicely when mounting and dismounting, very desensitized, not girthy, can be handled in a stall (A stall is his preference.) cross ties, trailer tying, no buck, rear, bolt, spook, blowup, biting, lunging, kicking, etc. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this horse I am just a bit crunched on time to get out to the barn and I just want what is best for him so I am very flexible on pricing, off property, sharing tack, equipment, etc. A rider who is intermediate to advanced that has 2-3 days a week they can come out would be preferred. (A half lease.) He is greener so he is only flatting with crossrails at the moment to build a bit more muscle but he was up to 2”9 and showing 2”6 when in shape. So someone who is okay with where he is at but also able to work up to those heights would be also be preferred. He also does western so a rider with both english and western experience would be best. Showing would also be an option down the road. For any more questions, inquiries, etc. please call or text 2
