Chrome is a beautiful, very gentle and well trained AQHA 4-year-old, 15.1 hand buckskin gelding. He has been in good hands his whole life with quality handling and training and boy does it show! There are few and far between that are as good natured, kind and willing as Chrome. In the arena Chrome is a lot of fun and is a pleasure to ride. He has a great handle, holds collection, has an easy one hand neck rein, a beautiful smooth jog and will lope out on cue. He never misses his leads and is extremely smooth traveling in all gates. Good stop, backs soft and side passes well. Moves off of hand and leg cues with ease as well. He is very user friendly to ride and work with. He is the kind of horse that always seems happy, eager to please and tries to give you whatever it is you ask of him. Chrome is outstanding to ride around our busy neighborhood as well as out on the trails. When riding in the urban environment he is very much at ease with large delivery trucks, trash trucks, all other fast passing vehicles as well as bicycles, landscaping equipment and all the other things we encounter like the neighborhood dogs that run up barking, farm animals and large odd items that have been put out on the curb. When riding out on our rugged mountain trails, Chrome will happily and peacefully ride in any position of a group. Will lead, follow, ride in the middle or out on his own. He navigates steep terrain well, crosses the river and deadfall. He is sure footed in the rocks and hills. Chrome has everything going for him. Beauty, brains and natural talent.
