Bubbles High Brow 2016 AQHA Mare | 14.3–15 HH Dandys Dusty Cat × Band of Bubbles 📍 Roy, WA 💲 $19,500 “Hartley” is just coming off 6 months of professional barrel training with TF Performance Horses. She is confidently running a clean pattern, drills well at home, and is currently clocking 3D–5D times. She would be a great match for someone looking to get out, compete, and have fun without pressure on divisions. Hartley has the potential to make a nice all-around WAHSET horse, including drill team and possibly breakaway. She is not patterned on gymkhana games but is well broke and has a good work ethic. It wouldn’t take much to get her going. On the pattern she can get a bit strong at times but totally manageable, She loves to run!! On the trail, she is very safe and reliable. She is a very honest and brave trail horse. Will “move out” and lead, or go on her own. Will cross bridges and creeks ect. This mare is a pleasure to have around—easy to haul, great for the farrier and vet, and stands well for all routine handling. She gets along well with other horses, cattle, goats, dogs, and more. ✔️ Up to date on vaccinations ✔️ Routine deworming and dental care ✔️ Very minimal maintenance. 📩 Private message or call/text (253)222-4075 for more information, photos, and videos. ⸻ 🧬 1️⃣ Dandys Dusty Cat side (CAT / cow horse influence) 🐄 Type of bloodline This side is tied into: • High Brow Cat–style cow horse genetics • Cutting / working cow horse influence 🔥 What it typically produces • Quick-footed, catty movement • Strong ability to: • Rate speed • Turn hard • Stay balanced in tight patterns • Very trainable, responsive horses 👉 These are the traits barrel trainers LOVE: • Snappy turns • Natural rate at the barrel • “Watchy” and aware ⸻ Overview of the cross • Sire: Dandys Dusty Cat • Dam: Band of Bubbles 🐎 2️⃣ Band of Bubbles side (performance/run influence) This side is less publicly documented, but based on usage and naming trends: 🧬 Likely type • Performance-bred Quarter Horse mare line • Often tied to: • Running blood (speed influence) • Or all-around performance (barrels, poles, gaming) 🔥 What it contributes • Forward motion / speed • Mental toughness for hauling and competing • More “go” to balance the cow horse side 👉 This is what turns a “turny horse” into a barrel horse instead of just a cow horse ⸻ ⚡ What this cross produces (the important part) 🧠 Style of horse • “Push-style with rate” • Not usually a free-running, blow-by-the-barrel type 🏇 Barrel traits • ✔ Natural rate going into the turn • ✔ Tight, efficient turns • ✔ Enough speed to be competitive locally • ✔ Often consistent 2D–4D types 🧬 Build & movement • Medium build (not overly bulky or racey) • Agile rather than long-strided • Good hind-end engagement (from cow side) 🟢 Strengths of this cross • Very trainable and versatile • Good for: • Barrels • Pole • Ranch versatility
