Waylon has been used as a trail and hunting camp horse! He is a steady ride from start to finish, he is comfortable leading or following. He crosses water, logs, and navigates steep terrain with ease. He does phenomenal at spending long periods of time in the mountains either camping or hunting. He stands great during the day tied to a tree or being highlined. Wyalon also respects an electric fence. He handles time off well, and is the same horse whether you rode him yesterday or several months ago.
Waylon is well-broke and easy to ride. He neck reins and yields to leg pressure and verbal cues . Waylon has wonderful ground manners, and stands patiently for grooming and saddling. He has not been used with kids or novice riders and has not done much in an arena. Waylon definitely loves being out on the trail. He leads, loads, ties, and stands for the farrier. He is up to date on deworming, and teeth floating.
