Jim is a lighter, athletic draft cross.
FABULOUS on trails and drives like a champ. Even jumps! Very willing and smooth about it. Soft mouth, knows his one rein stop/ flex VERY well. Has been EXPOSED to all kinds of things. Huge potential to be a fox hunter!
We've taken him through obstacle courses, crossed bridges, and went through the downtown Ava parade. Jim has IMPRESSED us EVERY TIME!
Jim is SUPER smart and willing to do everything we've asked. This boy is SUPER special and has the potential to do ANYTHING!!!
Excellent for the farrier! Can go barefoot but has had shoes as well.
Has a nice pace walk, trot & lope!
Also ties great, loads easy, hauls quiet, clips!
Great in a turn out/ pasture setting but he does love playmates. Yes he loves to play games all day with his pasture mates!
Has zero desire to buck or rear. Doesn't require ground work to have a nice ride. We get on him cold every time and he's always a gentleman.
Jim has been started over fences & logs. And proving to be a wonderful jumper and rides English just beautiful ! Jim really is extremely versatile , talented & aims to please! He's extremely athletic but NOT hot & willing to try new things and will effortlessly move out when asked but never hot.
