Whiskey Drift is an 8-year-old AQHA gelding, standing approximately 15.2 hh and around 1,100 lbs. He’s a well-built, attractive stock-type with a kind eye and a solid, balanced frame.
He’s going nicely at the walk, trot, and lope, and has been ridden in the arena and out on trails. He’s a calm, willing partner forward enough to be enjoyable but not overly reactive, and he takes things in stride.
Whiskey Drift has good ground manners he leads, ties, loads, and stands well for grooming, bathing, and the farrier. He rides comfortably in a snaffle and is straightforward to handle.
He is sound and up to date on routine care, including vaccinations, dental, and farrier. Currently maintained with front shoes and a simple program.
Best suited for an intermediate rider or confident amateur, but could continue to develop into a more beginner-friendly horse with consistency and miles.
He would make a great all-around partner trails, light arena work, or someone’s reliable, enjoyable horse.
Looking for a consistent, kind home where he can have a job and a person of his own.
Just to be transparent, he’s being offered for adoption due to some recent veterinary expenses. There is a balance that would need to be settled before he can be rehomed I’m happy to go over that with you if you’d like.
