Super flashy 6 year old almost 7, gelding up for your consideration. Docs bar x Dash for cash lines. Located in Junction City Oregon Romeo, is a very kind horse who just wants cuddles. He’s easy to catch, easy for the farrier, good when getting his teeth done and easy to haul and tack up. I’ve had Romeo since he was 2, started him late at 4 almost 5 with Jake Raley. Jake did a wonderful job and put a huge stop on him. When I say he drags, HE DRAGS. Since then, I rode him for two years while I had an arena and trailer. Now I have neither and he has been sitting for a full year due to schooling and starting my own business. Can ride him bareback and I’ve saddled him a few times to ride in the pasture. The ONLY REASON he’s under 10k is because I cannot haul him right now. He hasn’t lost what he knows, but he need someone whose willing to get him back and shape and DESERVES someone to take him and rodeo off of him. He is a prospect still. I have him mostly patterned on the barrels and have roped the dummy on him a couple times. He will be a great breakaway horse due to his amazing stop and fast, quick and BIG enough to be a great barrel horse. He has a soft mouth. Been hauled to races and been around cattle in our neighbors cow pastures, pins his ears and is very cowwy. Romeo ran through a fence when he was younger and took a chunk of muscle out of his shoulder, because of that..his shoulder has to stay in shape in order for him to pick up that lead and he will pick it up. When it’s not in shape, he hesitates to use it. Going to the left, he’s perfect and smooth..but it take someone who knows what they are doing to get him to pick up his right lead. Otherwise, he’s a great horse. He needs some TLC and is alittle stubborn right now. He will be such an amazing horse for someone that rides often or long miles. I can’t let him sit any longer and would like to find a smaller ranchy horse to rope off of. My back requires that. I have him at 8️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ and am open to offers, but not low balls. He may have had time off, but he’s very nice and well bred and would be considered a steal once he’s legged up.
