Check him out he both Rides & Drives! Rembrandt is a registered Friesian Sport Horse Gelding standing at 15.3 hands tall and 4yrs old. He has the nice thicker build of the Friesian so he’s fine to carry a taller or heavier rider. His Mom is a grade Friesian Morgan Cross and dad is a registered Friesian Sport Horse. RIDING: He crosses creeks, logs, bridges, rivers, etc. He will go up and down the steep banks and hills without an issue. He has a very nice smooth canter that’s easy to sit to and a trot that is also smooth and easy to post to. He is NOT hot at all more laid back and quiet tempered, but not lazy either he’ll move out when asked. So I would say average speed. And you will love his gaits absolutely smooth a pleasure to ride anytime. GROUND MANNERS: Stands excellent for the farrier so good that your farrier will be counting down the days before he can come out again to trim Rembrandt! Stands good for tacking and mounting. Loads right in the trailer hauls fine and backs right out. Easy to catch. Gets along in the pasture middle of the pecking order. He’ll ride out away from home alone fine and rides front or back with other horses. PERSONALITY: He has a puppy dog in your pocket type personality. He’s very friendly loves people will come to greet you at the gate. Loves attention. DRIVING: Stands to hitch, stands at the stop signs, and stands good for getting on/off the cart. He is easy to control on the lines drives in just a snaffle bit also rides in a snaffle bit. He knows the words easy, whoa, back, walk on, and trot. Or click to him for a trot. He is fine with most traffic he’s been driven down quieter country roads. So he’s fine with the regular traffic. The only thing I have to call on him is he will look at the odd things beside the road he’ll either stop, pick his head up or want to side step around it. Mostly these things are just because he’s young yet so with more time he’ll get over that. He doesn’t do anything really dangerous he’s NEVER offered to buck, rear, kick, bite, bolt, or anything dangerous. So only because he’s still young he needs an intermediate rider/driver. So basically all the important things he’s rock solid on and has a level head, but he’s still a young horse and needs someone that just knows what they are doing to keep taking him in the right direction. And NO bad habits or vices He comes up to date on coggins, shots, dewormings, vet check, and farrier. Just call if interested two three one 6707101
