I have a 5 year old Promised Land Ranch horse purchased last spring from Promised Land Ranch. My old horse went lame and doctored him for 2 years with no success so I needed a replacement. I am 68. I purchased Chaco from Promised Land Ranch for $12,000. I rode Chaco for 6 rides including a camping trip. A month later a friend called and said he was done riding and wanted to sell us his horse of 18 years. Done it all. Do I want his horse? Of course. This 18 year old husband safe horse was purchased. I didn't buy Chaco as a finished horse but planned to take him to a trainer this spring. My new 18 year horse is a dream to ride. This winter due to an amazing Farrier my old lame horse has also come back to better than ever. My wife and I have 5 horses. 4 of them are stellar horses. This makes my adventure with Chaco not necessary and we are willing to pass him on to someone who values Promised Land horses. My wife's horse is Chaco's 1/2 brother and amazing. Chaco needs more time and training to make him amazing as well. Willing to make you a deal to a good home.
