*DD Linnea*

Linnea is a sweet 4 year old mare, who is currently nursing her foal from early May. She will be ready to go to her new home in the fall once her foal is weaned.

Linnea was carefully bred, foaled and raised at DDungård in our herd setting. She’s got performance bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree in eventing and dressage. She is sired by the red dun stallion Gio, who we imported from the Netherlands in 2019. While with us, Gio has competed in both recognized (USDF) dressage shows at second level and was very successful in three day eventing, qualifying for multiple American Eventing Championships (AEC) at Novice level and participating at the AEC in Kalispell in 2022 with a junior rider. Linnea’s dam, Lillian, is sired by the German stallion Orka, who has produced many fantastic dressage horses, who have competed at USDF recognized shows up to Prix St Georges.
Linnea is a very responsive mare who tends to be more on the sensitive side compared to other Fjords. While she is well socialized in the herd, she is rather at the bottom of the hierarchy and not one that will start picking a fight with another horse. She leads, ties, loads and stands well for the farrier. She has always been kept up to date on vaccinations, deworming and trims. Linnea has no medical history or any special needs. The only thing notable is that she is a very easy keeper. Linnea got exposed to a saddle and got a light start under saddle. She has been very easy and level headed getting started.

She is currently standing 13.3hh-14hh. She is a really nice mare for sport, recreation and/or breeding. Linnea will only be offered open. Pictures of her and both parents available upon request. Serious inquiries only!
