Woody U Bet (“Woody”) is a 17-year-old gelding standing 15.2 hands. He is built correctly, has no soundness issues, and has been a dependable step-up barrel and pole horse for me over the past two years. I purchased Woody to jackpot on and compete at junior rodeos, and he has been hauled to a variety of pens, exposed to different horses and environments, and handles overnight rodeos well. He is experienced and knows his job.

Woody would be a great fit for a younger rider (around 9–12, give or take) or someone looking for a step-up horse they can continue learning on while still being competitive. He consistently places differently depending on the rodeo/pen, but is capable of running in the 3D and can dip into the bottom of the 2D.

Woody can get anxious in more stressful environments, so he does best with a confident rider who can keep him moving forward and reassure him. I’m selling because my riding style just hasn’t been the best fit for him.
