Offering up a trail gelding Mustang for sale I purchased him at Idaho State fair 4h training program as a yearling. I believe he’s from the Wyoming herd. I’ll have to check his paperwork. Since I got him, he went to 90 days with a very reputable Mustang trainer. Over the years we have done a couple endurance rides. We did many training clinics. He is not a fan of the arena mainly just getting very lazy. He is very Cowy and likes to chase them everywhere. I have thrown a rope off him with no issue. He’s not that great at neck reining because I am more of a direct Reiner but He has an idea. He is great on the trail alone or in groups. If you get scared of something, he usually freezes sometimes you have to just talk him through it. Trust goes a long way with this horse and he likes building a relationship with a person. He can be a little mischievous, which I’ve heard is a typical Mustang thing. He is definitely a character… Cons. If he is not used regularly, he does seem to be full of energy. He doesn’t like the arena he would be a great ranch horse or trail horse. Every now and then he will pull back on a pole if he’s spooked about something. I’ve worked on it a lot with him usually long days tied to something hard with no issue. He’s built like a tank he’s thick and Hardy. VERY EASY KEEPER He has strong feet. Usually I just keep him barefoot. Great for the farrier. 7k obo I do travel back-and-forth from Boise to Bonners ferry and can bring him.
