Double registered 4yr old 15.1hh Arabian Appaloosa gelding in search of a new zip code.

Purchased at 6 months old and has basic groundwork knowledge. Started under saddle at 3yrs old and has 60 days of professional riding under his belt. While a true beauty, he is still very green. Due to this, he will be sold to someone who plans on working with a trainer or a professional who can devote time to further his education.

Selling due to no fault of his own - I simply do not have the time to commit to him. He has so much potential and I want to see him thrive in all he does.

I was told he was worked with frequently from age 0-3, but when he arrived to my farm last year, I was quite shocked at the status of his training. I’ve worked on ground manners with him, but have not had any time under saddle with him. He arrived with his feet in very poor condition and it has taken the year to get them healthy, which has set back his under saddle work.

Currently in front shoes and up to date on all vetting. He stands on cross ties, but due to a poor farrier at his last home, he needs work on being compliant while getting shod. He gets anxious when you reach for his legs and will come up when asked for basic leg movements. Not a fan of baths but has come a long way in both of these areas. When his training is more consistent, he will be quite successful in these areas.

With his puppy dog personality, I know he will be an outstanding athlete for someone who can invest the time he needs.
Goes out well with geldings and mares, but does get attached to his pals and needs work on being an independent boy.
