Bourbie is out of the Adobe Town HMA in Wyoming and was wild until 2023 when I adopted him. Day 1 in the wild pen and he let me touch him all over. He is a willing, brave horse. He was started under saddle in Oct 2024 and has been an amazing ride. This winter we rode bridleless, trail rode, and were schooling the equivalent of Basic level Western Dressage. I was hoping to work him into my lesson program, but soundness has been a struggle over the past year due to him having a chronic Vit E deficiency (despite supplementation) and a locking patella. I am looking for a home where riding is not the priority, and yet where he would have a job to keep his busy young mind active. He would THRIVE with someone doing liberty or trick training. Not for a beginner (his bravery can lead him to be pushy), and he needs to go out with "boss type" horses, other mustangs, or solo. Will go with a no-auction, first right of refusal contract to the perfect home only. UTD on everything. Easy keeper and barefoot. Loads easily. Ties. Can go out with any kind of safe fencing, including electric.
