Companion or Light Trail Home Wanted
20-year-old registered Oldenburg gelding seeking a loving companion or retirement home after his dressage career.
He is the definition of a kind, old soul and has been a barn favorite wherever he goes. He is gentle, easy to handle, and has safely been led by young children. He gets along well with other horses and is happy living in a variety of situations, whether that’s stalled, living outdoors, turned out with mares, or turned out with geldings.
He is serviceably sound and comfortable for light use, but I am only considering homes looking for a companion or an occasional trail horse. He is not being sold for any type of performance, lesson program, or regular riding schedule. His comfort and quality of life are my top priorities.
While he is no longer the right fit for a competitive career, he is a lovely mover with a wonderful personality that makes him an exceptional companion and a pleasure to have around.
Finding him the perfect home is far more important to me than making a sale. A small rehoming fee applies simply because I do not believe in giving horses away, but I am happy to discuss the right situation for the right home.
