Beautiful buckskin AQHA stud colt born June 12th 2026. He wasn't a surprise but he was a whoopsie breeding. We've been calling him Spirit after the DreamWorks movie.

Spirit is out of AQHA registered mare Smart Lil Melody. Melody is a neat little mare with very strong cow-horse and performance lineage. She carries well known bloodlines including Smart Little Lena, Doc O’Lena, Doc Bar, Colonel Freckles, Mr Gun Smoke, Flit Bar, Sugar Bars, and Puro Tivio. Proven cutting influence and good ol' ranch quarter horses. She is a beautiful blend of cow sense, trainability, brains, quick wit, and athleticism. All of which she passes onto her foals. This would be my keeper foal from Melody if he was a she.

His sire is Charlie. A super chill, cheeky 2 year old (now 3) who got out with the mares for a couple hours one nice day by accident.

Charlie is an extremely well bred Thoroughbred. His sire is Allspark, a jockyClub stallion (not raced) but was bred for racing with an all star pedigree such as his sire Grindstone (Kentucky Derby Winner), Black Tie Affair (graded stakes winner as a two, three, four, and five year old), Unbridled (Kentucky Derby and Breeders' Cup Classic winner), Mr. Prospecter (known as a sires of sire as many of his offspring where notably successful - his bloodlines have influenced thoroughbred across the world), as well as Secretariat's dam Somethingroyal!

Charlie's dam JockyClub mare Discreet Gal was an amazing producer of well minded, talented horse. She was racing bred, had 51 starts, and a total lifetime earnings of $104,328 and retired completely sound! She was a great great granddaughter of Secretariat - triple crown winner and the fastest racehorse ever recorded.

Both sire and dam have exceptional temperaments and athletic ability. Their pedigrees are full of steadfast, gritty, top dog athletes. It's just the tip of the iceberg as to their quality.

Spirit is a stunner with a promising potential for competitive and real world working careers.

Spirit is being raised in a large acreage pasture in a natural herd setting with other foals his age to socialize and play with with. He will have age appropriate handling at time of weaning.

He will not be registered as his sire Charlie is not approved with AQHA and I no longer own him.

Pre weaning price is $4800. I'll give 5% off the total if you pay in full. Otherwise a 20% down non-refundable deposit will hold him until he's weaned this coming November/December. Remainder due at or before weaning. No boarding fee while he's with his dam.
