Flagmount’s Belle Amie (2020 16.3-17 hands, brown mare, Flagmount’s Freedom ISH x Bellamy Class xx, Bellamy Road xx). Great event horse/jumper/dressage prospect by popular Irish sporthorse eventing sire Flagmount's Freedom. One of the last crops available. Flagmount's Freedom competed to CCI**, and has numerous offspring that have competed up the levels, often with amateurs. He was known for throwing ammy friendly horses. Bellamy has correct, uphill conformation, just enough bone from the Irish draught, and great Irish feet! She would be a fabulous prospect for a talented junior or a stronger amateur rider.
Bellamy is a 6 year old, 16.3-17 hand mare that is a green prospect. Raised and broken by an admittedly flabby amateur in her 50s, Bellamy had a late start due to the owner's health. Bellamy did lots of groundwork while the owner could not ride after a first heart attack in 2023, and was started under saddle in 2025. She had been going walk, trot, canter and has hopped a couple of times over x-rails. She has spent most of her life on the farm, but was hauled out several times last summer for lessons and a trail ride, and was well-behaved off the farm. The owner has ridden her in the ring and out in big open hilly pastures. Bellamy also had about 15-20 professional rides. She is not a beginner ride, as she is a sensitive, light ride. Owner had a second heart attack in September, 2025, and Bellamy just started back up in May, 2026 in very light work, as owner can only trot or canter for 1 minute sets. As a big, green horse, she needs work on strengthening and balancing.
Bellamy has a very sweet but sensitive disposition, and is not marish. No spook, buck, spin, or bolt. No vices. Good for farrier and vet. Up to date on shots and teeth. Loads easily. Good with other horses - at the bottom of the pecking order. Bellamy lives outside 24/7 in nice weather, but is stalled during hot days in the summer and for riding. Bellamy has USEF lifetime registration and is microchipped. Owner must regretfully downsize her numbers due to health issues.
