I bought "Buck" when he was three. Intended him to be my "forever" saddle horse. He did not disappoint me. I'm 81 and no longer ride and he is too good to be a pasture ornament. He has many good years to offer. He has mostly been a trail horse. Has hundreds of miles in the high country. He trailers nice, highlines and hobbles. He will lead or follow in line. Can walk slow enough to travel with non-gaited horses. Hasn't been ridden regularly for the last three years. He is easy to catch and easy to shoe. He has good hard black hoofs. No negative barn habits. Has not been ridden English. Has been started in harness. Looks more like a quarter horse than a walker. Has a moderate overreach, so is comfortable at a flat walk. He is "grass fat" and sleek. Freshly shod and ready to take you on the trails I hate to part with him but he has good times to offer his new owner.
