“Prince” is an incredibly fun and quiet 4 year old Percheron/QH gelding looking for his next person. He has a great temperament and is very well started with a solid western background, and he’s now transitioning into English work and could really suit any job! He’s currently just shy of 15.3 and has a bit of growing to do, but he’s solidly built and takes up leg (rider is 5’7”). He’s a great trail horse who isn’t fazed by water, bridges, traffic, dogs, bikes, etc…but he is equally fun in the arena and naturally carries himself in a nice way with 3 cute and comfortable gaits. He is starting to learn about being ridden with more consistent contact and is doing some baby lateral work. He has not yet started jumping due to his age and current growth phase, but that’s next on the agenda, and we could see him turning into an awesome hunt horse or even a pony club mount- or he could easily go back into the western world and be a solid ranch horse. He’s also the rare young horse who can sit around for a week or two and then get pulled out and ridden with no prep and no nonsense! Prince is very sound but does have some large splints on both front legs; they are old, cold, and causing zero problems but are a cosmetic blemish for those who require completely clean legs. He’s good to handle/ship/etc and currently wears front shoes.
