Duke is a 17-year-old, 17.1 HH registered APHA gelding looking for his next partner. Due to time constraints, he isn’t getting the attention and consistent riding he deserves, so we’re searching for the perfect home where he can continue to thrive.

Duke has an exceptional willingness to please and truly enjoys learning. He does best with a confident rider who will encourage him to reach his full potential. He is incredibly intelligent, has a kind, “in-your-pocket” personality, and is a pleasure to have around the barn.

He has excellent ground manners with no buck, bolt, rear, or other undesirable behaviors. Duke stands well for the farrier and veterinarian and is currently shod on all four feet. He receives routine maintenance, which we’re happy to discuss with serious buyers.

Duke has an impressive show record in the western discipline and would also excel as a versatile all-around horse. He would be well suited for anything from western events to x-rails and jumping up to 2’6”. He is broke, dependable, and suitable for a wide range of riders while still offering enough talent for someone looking to develop his potential.
