Looking for a sweet, easy keeper? Johnny boy is that and more! He’s a 2009 registered Tennessee Walking Horse and Racking horse. His registered name is “Snake in the Grass” but we call him Johnny. He has that effortless natural gait and has never been shod with weights or lifts. Standing 15 hands and around 1100 lbs, he is barefoot with very good feet. Here is what makes him stand out: • Smooth natural gait. • Very attentive and wants to please. Soft in the mouth. English trained but training on Western cues, too. • Exceptional ground manners: loads easily, stands patiently for farrier and vet, loves grooming • Calm, beginner-safe, great with kids and other animals. He is the SWEETEST boy. 🥹 He absolutely loves attention. • No vices, easy keeper, happy in pasture or stall (Pasture preferably though) • Low in the pecking order: would love a gentle pasture buddy! • Currently on Timothy Hay pellets and no grain. He’d make a great lesson horse or continue his life as a leisure trail horse. Johnny is that rare unicorn: genuinely sweet, curious, a fast learner, and always looking to please. He’s got a good brain!
