5-Year-Old Half Draft Mare- Broke and Gentle
June the 5-year-old half draft mare is the type of horse that's getting harder to find. She's been my personal horse and has proven herself to be dependable, versatile, and willing in every job asked of her. I started June as a two year old and she has been part of my program daily since.
She's spent her days dragging calves at brandings, gathering cattle in the mountains, and has been hauled to ranch rodeos and cattle sortings. Whether it's a long day on the ranch or a weekend event, she shows up with the same quiet, willing attitude.
She's also been a trusted 4-H horse at the county fair, packing inexperienced riders with patience and confidence. She's been ridden in parades, enjoyed many trail rides, and is the same gentle mare every time you saddle her up.
In the arena, she'll lope pretty, collected circles and has a big stop. She has a kind eye, an easy-going temperament, and is as gentle as the day is long. She's the kind of horse that meets you at the gate, wants to please, and is enjoyable to ride every time.
If you're looking for a well-rounded mare that's been there, done that, and still has her best years ahead of her, she's ready to go in any direction you choose. She's the kind you can use all week on the ranch and enjoy all weekend with the family.
