Apollo has been my ride or die ever since I acquired him. He is an ex racehorse, ran 63 times and retired sound. He opens gates, neck reins, is used to tractors/kids/dogs/fireworks you name it. BROKE broke. Never had soundness issues. He unfortunately has kissing spine and should not be ridden without surgery. He’s looking to be company for another quiet horse, or if you’re able to get the surgery done this horse would do anything and everything. Ranch work, dressage, lower level jumping, kids mount, anything you could think of he’s game. I can honestly say I’ve never met a more versatile horse, when he was being ridden he was constantly being complimented on his movement. Beautiful mover, great personality, easy to get along with. Bottom of the totem pole in a herd. Stands like an angel for the farrier and to be bathed, and falls asleep getting clipped. Would be a great candidate for in hand showing as well. I unfortunately cannot afford the surgery and honestly want to see him get away from the racetrack. He’s too nice to keep being a pony horse with or without surgery. A good home is far more important than anything else. X rays and photos available to serious inquiries
