Edie is a 4 year old 17.1 hand Grey registered Percheron Mare. She was imported from Canada as a weanling and has been brought up slowly and correctly from weanling to the well rounded 4 year old she is now. Edie is excelling at her under saddle work and is a great prospect for many different disciplines; such as lower level dressage, fox hunting, trail horse, and she has been started very lightly over fences. Edie has great balanced conformation, great feet, clean legs and no blemishes. Her temperament is docile and well behaved, always seeking to please and calm in new situations. Edie has three lovely gaits, her trot is very comfortable and she canters well, picking up both leads effortlessly. She is ridden frequently with other horses and by herself, in an indoor and out in a field. She was raised in a herd environment and is middle to low in the pecking order. Edie is currently barefoot, easy to trim, good for clipping and baths. She will stand on cross ties for any length of time and loves to be pampered.
