Pistol — Talented 6-Year-Old Quarter Horse Gelding
Meet Pistol, a stunning six-year-old Quarter Horse gelding with a gorgeous blood-bay coat, striking black mane and tail, and a beautifully smooth lope.
Pistol was trained as a reining horse and, to my knowledge, has never competed. He also has experience running barrels and poles at rodeos, giving him a versatile foundation and plenty of potential. With his athletic ability, movement, and willingness to work, I believe Pistol could excel in the hands of the right person.
Pistol is a horse I love dearly, but I have come to realize that I am not his person. He deserves someone who will spend the time developing his abilities, give him a job, and appreciate the special horse he can become.
He can be a little temperamental at times, so he needs a confident, experienced rider who understands horses and is comfortable establishing themselves as his leader. With consistent handling, regular work, and the right partnership, I believe Pistol has the potential to truly shine.
This is a difficult sale because he means a great deal to me. I am not looking for just any buyer—I want to find the right person who will love Pistol, give him a purpose, and help him reach his full potential.
