Stetson is a sweet, goofy, grade thoroughbred gelding. Primarily used for gaming/playdays by my 11year-old daughter. We have owned him for 4 years, he is sensitive and my daughter is a naturally nervous person which makes him nervous. They just can't seem to make a great pair. Stetson does not have a mean bone in his body, he would just do better for a kid or adult who does not get nervous going in to the arena. He doesn't do anything mean, he just goes off pattern. He is great with his feet, loads, clips, bathes, no maintenance, does great bare foot but has had shoes on when ridden more. My 11 year old daughter can hop right on him after he sat all winter. He has a nice big stride and could be fast for someone who wants to barrel race or go to play days. He had beautiful movement when my daughter tried western dressage on him, so I would say he could be a dressage prospect, even jumping with his big stride.
