Sunny 2017 13.3HH Grade Gelding Deer Park, WA Respectable ground manners, easy to lunge, stands to be mounted, ties, bathes, hauls well, and stands for the farrier. Barefoot with solid feet. No lameness, colic or ulcer history. Grass hay 2X a day, no grain or supplements. Easy keeper with no founder or laminitis history. Dental & Vaccinations UTD Sunny is my personal horse and he is honestly the cutest and most lovable little thing. Comes right up to you at the gate and makes happy sounds. I had planned to keep him and train him to drive but, I ended up buying 2 other dressage prospects that are taking up way too much of my time to work with this guy. Sunny has spent months under my program learning meticulous in-hand, desensitization and under-saddle work. Rides western, bareback and english. Schooling training level with a great halt and rein back. Sunny has the start of spins & sliding stops. Sunny is WTC in the arena and on the trails. He enjoys the trails and is fairly confident while he’s out exploring. Alone or with others he’s ready to go have a good time. Crosses water, ponies and dogs don’t phase him and he is up for pretty much anything you ask. Sunny has been ridden off-site consistently in indoor and outdoor arenas, as well as on trails, and travels well to new environments. He is the same off property as he is at home. As my personal horse, he is sensitive to aids in a good way. He is more than happy to tote around your kid or do some serious work in the arena. This guy could be a super cute little dressage horse for an older adult ready to get back into it or a youth rider wanting something fun and safe. Sunny is currently ridden in a mullen eggbutt bit and rope halter. He was not ridden in a bit for the majority of his life so he still fidgets with it but responds well. Goes well without spurs or a whip. Rider in photos and videos is 5’11. Sunny would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and happy horse. If you are looking for a gelding that is ready to hit the trails confidently, come see him. If you are looking for a pony for your kids arena hopes and dreams, come see him! Showings available in person or virtually.
