Lilly is a beautiful 2-year-old registered Pinto Fell cross mare looking for the right home to continue bringing her along. This is a rare opportunity to own a Fell cross, with imported bloodlines on her sire’s side.
Lilly has been raised with lots of individual attention and regular handling and has an incredibly sweet, people-oriented personality. She is easy to catch, enjoys attention, leads, ties, stands for grooming, bathes/hoses, and has been consistently handled and taught the groundwork appropriate for a young horse.
She is not started under saddle due to her age and has intentionally been given the time to grow and mature. She is ready for someone to continue her education and eventually start her their own way.
Lilly has a substantial build with plenty of growing and filling out still to do. She has a beautiful presence and would make an exciting prospect for someone looking for something a little different from the typical young horse.
She is currently barefoot and regularly trimmed. Her farrier describes her as having very strong, well-balanced feet, and she has done very well barefoot.
Lilly is curious, intelligent, willing and extremely personable. She loves attention and has developed a wonderful bond with people. She has the foundation to become a lovely all-around riding horse with continued patient, age-appropriate training.
