12 year old TB mare. Littlefirefighter ( Savage ) is a well built, powerhouse of a mare. Just a hair under 16 HH. Super fun to ride in the ring. I've had her just under 2 years, got her in hopes of having her be part of my string of mounted shooting horses, but it's just not going to be her thing. She should have an experienced rider, or someone who works with a trainer. That said, the kids here ride her very well, but they have good seats and hands. She is sensitive and hard-working and just so much fun to ride. Beautifully changes leads. Great movement. We really haven't done much trail work with her, as we've been focused on getting her broke for mounted shooting. Tho she does quite well with obstacles. Would likely make an extremely good Working Equitation horse as she has the collection and impulsion needed. This is not a must sell. I'm just contemplating it. If I could find the right match for her I think she would be someone's heart horse, because again she is just so much fun to ride and she has such good work ethic and heart. She is sound. Barefoot. We have had no lameness issues with her at all, tho she can be tenderfooted a day or two after a trim. She raced until she was 6, and then had a few foals. She finished her race career on the track sound. She retired from brooding , because they had issues getting her to take after her second foal. 💲1️⃣0️⃣K
