It is with a great deal of regret that our daughter has made the difficult decision to find the right new home for her horse.

Ruger is a fun, athletic Quarter Horse with lots of personality and plenty of spunk. He is sensitive and highly responsive, rides beautifully with a light hand, and has many miles and experiences behind him. He has been a steady 4-H horse, carried our daughter as a Rodeo Court horse, and is great out in the mountains.

He has a wonderfully quirky personality and is the kind of horse who becomes a true partner once you understand him. Because he is sensitive and has plenty of “fun buttons,” he would be best suited to a confident, fairly experienced rider who appreciates a responsive horse and can bring out his best.

Like many performance horses, Ruger does require some routine maintenance, which we are happy to discuss openly with serious buyers.

We purchased him three years ago and are asking the same price we paid, despite the tremendous amount of time and experience our daughter has put into him. We believe he is a bargain for the right rider, but finding him an excellent, knowledgeable home is most important to us.
