“Rory” is a four year old registered FSHR mare. She was bred, born and raised on our 40 acre family farm here in Northeast Ohio. Her mother was my personal horse for 7 years. Rory had 90 training as a 2 year old by a local trainer using natural horsemanship methods, she was lightly ridden and driven (as a team) in these 90 days. As a three year old she was sent out to pasture with her buddies to finish growing up. Earlier this spring she had a three month refresher in training again and has been ridden a few days a week since. Rory has been ridden by various levels of riders from advanced to intermediate, she adjusts well to whomever is riding her. She has done some trail riding as well, she will go through water, over logs etc. Rory has a solid walk, trot and canter. She is young and has to find some balance yet. She can be ridden in English or western tack, she has even been ridden bareback. Rory is a forward thinking mare, with a very sensible and willing attitude. The only reason Rory is being offered for sale is I now have a family of my own and simply don’t have the time for her that she deserves.
