Leslie is a 13.2hh, 4 y/o draft/quarter pony cross mare. She rides both English and Western beautifully. She is fun to ride outside and not buddy/barn sour. She’s willing to go wherever you want her to. She prefers riding outside more than in the arena. She is good for the farrier and has nice feet. She ties well nicely and loads in the trailer well. Leslie is good for baths and grooming. She is up to date on all vaccines and dental. Easy keeper, currently getting grass and alfalfa hay. Along with pasture when weather is suitable. She’s very smart and knows how to move her shoulders, side pass, and leg yield, and has good ground manners. She knows how to steer off your leg and is learning how to neck rein. Under English, we have started on popping over small cross rails. We have worked on all basic body movements under saddle. She has a good personality for a young mare. Someone who wants to trail ride or continue jumping her would get along great. She is youth or adult suitable. Main two flaws - she can be hard to catch in a herd, and she’s quite mareish in a mixed herd. She lives alone perfectly fine and stalls well. Leslie has mainly been ridden by a 14 year old girl as a summer project. The young gal is ready for her next project horse so Leslie is looking for a new address.
