After 12 wonderful years together, I’m looking for a very special new home for Rubio due to life changes and simply not having the time he deserves.
Rubio is extremely comfortable, safe and level-headed to ride. He has a sensible temperament and I think he would make a wonderful trail or pleasure horse. He loves large turnout, enjoys being in a herd, and trailers with no problem.
Rubio does have large sidebone, which is well managed with pads/proper shoeing and a good farrier. He also has a cataract in one eye that has been stable for approximately 7 years and does not impede his vision (full veterinary eye report available).
Finding the right long-term home is far more important than a quick sale.
