Iron Pulse is a 16.3hh Oldenburg gelding currently jumping around the 1.20–1.25m level. He is a nice, athletic horse with a good jump and a great attitude toward his work. He has the size and power, but he is still pretty easy to ride and work with. He has a balanced canter and is adjustable when you need him to be. He is careful over the jumps and usually pays attention to what is in front of him. He handles combinations, related distances and jump-off turns well, and he stays pretty focused once he is in the ring.
What I like about Iron Pulse is that he is willing. He listens to his rider and tries to do his job. He isnt one of those horses that needs to be chased to every fence. He has his own personality of course, but he is honest and likes having a job to do.
He also has a very nice look about him. His buckskin color and athletic build definitely get him noticed, but for me its more about what he does when you get on him. He has the ability to keep moving up with the right rider, while still being a horse you can enjoy riding at home.
Iron Pulse would suit someone looking for a competitive jumper around the 1.20–1.25m level, with room to keep developing. He has a good work ethic, plenty of ability and is a horse we enjoy having around.
