Currently located in Springfield, Ohio, just a short drive from the AQHA Congress, and available for sale and to try now. Oscar will be returning to Lake Worth, Florida in November, where he will also be available for a partial on-site lease through May.
Oscar was started slowly and thoughtfully and has been jumping for approximately a year. He is forward-thinking, willing and brave, with a beautiful floaty trot and an incredibly comfortable canter. He has simple changes, with a green flying change coming along. He recently made his show debut and earned 3rd place at his very first show.
He is green but solid and best suited for a confident junior or adult in a program. A good-riding kid would have no problem with him, though he may benefit from an occasional trainer schooling ride as he continues his education.
Oscar is sweet, goofy and very much an in-your-pocket type. He loads, stands for grooming and the farrier, and has also been used in lessons with beginner children.
Sound with clean X-rays on file, no injuries or maintenance. Recent Coggins, teeth and feet done. Front shoes only.
Because Oscar does best in a cooler, lower-humidity climate, preference for a sale home is one where he can spend the hotter months farther north—making him an especially nice option for a snowbird family.
