Meet Drastic Measures (barn name not specified), a magnificent 10-year-old registered Thoroughbred gelding standing an impressive 17.0 hands tall. Possessing both exceptional athletic ability and a remarkably kind, willing personality, he is a rare find who can truly do it all.
Trail & Field Experience: Extensively trail-ridden and confident across rough terrain and quiet paths alike. He has experience jumping both inside and outside of the arena, has completed cross-country schooling, has participated in two fox hunts, and knows the barrel pattern.
Temperament & Family Suitability: Exceptionally minded, calm, and sensible. He is wonderfully patient and trustworthy with children of all ages, helping build confidence for young riders while remaining fun enough for experienced equestrians. Dogs running nearby and general distractions do not faze him.
Training & Versatility: Rides equally well in English and Western saddles, has been started in liberty work, and enjoys working closely with his person.
Veterinary & Official Records: Backed by an official equine soundness examination from O'Brien Veterinary Hospital (John L. O'Brien, Jr., D.V.M.) dated July 20, 2026, confirming normal heart, lungs, eyes, and joint flexion tests with no abnormalities found, declaring him sound of wind, limb, and sight. Accompanied by official Jockey Club registration paperwork (noted as "Not for Racing").
A truly well-rounded, one-of-a-kind partner with a solid foundation and gentle nature that the whole family can enjoy!
