Thor is a delightful fellow, and has the most fun personality of any animal on our farm! We love him to pieces, but have decided we need to move all of our horses to new homes so we have more time to concentrate on our young family and the mission work we do. Thor has sired thick, hairy foals like himself for us, as well as his previous owner. We have exclusively pasture bred him, and he is kind to the mares and loves hanging out with babies! On an every day basis he acts just like any other horse with no aggressive stallion behavior at all. Thor has been around adults as well as small children, and is a very kind guy. He has had about 10-12 rides, but would need to have his training continued to be considered broke. He is good for baths, having his feet trimmed, etc. Thor came to us from Wisconsin, and moving back north would be better for him as he has a sensitivity/allergy to our native grasses. We manage that by keeping him in a small pasture and feeding Timothy or orchard hay from up north, and that is certainly an option for his new owner if he does remain in the SE. Thor is simply fabulous in every way- looks, hair, and personality! We are looking for the BEST home for him where he will be loved deeply, that is what matters most to us!
