Carries the W20 gene
This mare has a lot of value added. She is young but has produced four amazing foals and is an above-average producer. At least two of these foals have carried the W20 gene and are full doubles. She tends to throw a lot of “roaniness” (not true roan but resulting from the W20 gene) throughout.
By the only living double registered son of Invitation Only, Required Invitation, out of a daughter of Radical Rodder, this young mare has some top breeding.
In addition, Diva is broke! She is basically green but has no issues. She has a big motor and a BIG trot! She is approximately 15 hands but can out trot just about anything. She is very kind and really tries. She has an eye-catching profile and would make a top versatility ranch horse prospect. I understand she has been ridden out and followed cows but I don’t know the extent of that. She is athletic and could go to work and win in ranch horse events with some more education.
In addition, she is an amazing producer; foals easily, is wonderful around people and other horses, milks like a Holstein and is a great mamma. Her ground manners are great and she jumps in the trailer without hesitation.
Her price does not reflect her value; in fact, in over 50 years of raising horses, this is one of the nicest mares I’ve ever had and she checks ALL the boxes. I am closing up shop and moving which is the ONLY reason this mare is so reasonably priced. If I’d had her 20 years ago, she would NEVER leave my place as she’s exactly what I like.
