"Freyja" is a striking 2024 ADDHA-registered mare by Nel-Mar Hummer (Ster) and out of Miss New York. This beautiful girl is exceptionally eye-catching, with four white stockings, beautiful proportions, and the kind of presence that makes people stop and look.

Freyja's movement may be her greatest asset. She is naturally expressive and articulated with an elegant, animated way of going and tremendous presence. Combined with her intelligence and willingness to learn, she offers an exciting foundation for someone looking for a quality young horse to develop for performance.

Freyja carries distinguished Dutch Harness Horse bloodlines, including the legendary KWPN Preferent stallions Manno and Fabricius, whose influence helped shape the modern breed. Her pedigree also features Sandor and Fuzandro, bringing together established lines known for expressive movement, elevated carriage, and athletic presence.

Her sire, Nel-Mar Hummer (Ster), has produced successful inspection and performance horses, including Melody Acres My-Quest, the 2022 KWPN-NA North American Champion Harness Stallion/Gelding and North American Champion Harness IBOP. His offspring have also earned strong results through KWPN-NA keurings and futurity competition.

Freyja's dam, Miss New York, brings additional Dutch Harness/KWPN influence through Fuzandro and Waldemar (Keur), together with American Saddlebred blood through her maternal line. The resulting pedigree offers an interesting combination of expressive movement, presence and performance-oriented bloodlines.

Beyond her distinguished bloodlines, looks, and movement, Freyja is wickedly smart, affectionate and sweet, with a big personality and an exceptionally quick mind. She handles well, is curious and playful, and wants to please. She has been in consistent professional training for several months and continues in professional work, developing the foundation expected of a quality young prospect.

Freyja is offered to a high quality, knowledgeable home or program looking for a talented young horse to bring along or breed thoughtfully. With her combination of movement, intelligence, pedigree and unmistakable presence, she can go any direction and has all the ingredients to become a truly special adult horse.
