Buckskin Beauty with Unlimited Potential — Project Mare Priced to Sell!
Meet this gorgeous buckskin Connemara/QH cross mare, approximately 6 years old! With her striking looks, kind disposition, and a world of potential, she could be an exciting prospect for someone looking to bring along a young horse their own way.
She was purchased with the intention of being professionally started, but with a busy ranch, a full string of horses, kids and our 2027 foals on the horizon, we simply haven’t had the opportunity to give her the time she deserves.
What we love about her:
- Beautiful and correct confirmation
- Kind, personable nature on the ground
- Easy keeper - barefoot, out 24/7 on a forage based diet
- Smart, willing prospect with lots of potential
The possibilities are exciting! With the right foundation and consistent training, we could see her going in so many directions including dressage, Western dressage, ranch riding, foxhunting, trails, eventing, and more.
She has the beauty and the brains; she just needs someone to put the buttons on her.
She is being offered honestly as an unstarted project mare, and her price reflects her current level of training. She is not a finished riding horse and will need an experienced, knowledgeable person to put a complete start on her. Tecova has had ground work, work with the flag, been ponied on trails etc. Currently in a mixed herd with mates and geldings.
We are making room for our 2027 foal crop, so she is priced for a quick sale to the right home who can commit to bringing her along.
