Meet Commander, a stunning 3-year-old dappled bay Warmblood x Percheron gelding standing 16.0 hands tall with a facial blaze and socks. Commander combines the elegant look and movement of a Warmblood with the steady, level-headed brain of a draft cross. He is wise beyond his years and has safely carried riders ranging from ages 3 to 75.
Arena & Hunter Performance: Broke both English and Western with three comfortable, easy-to-sit gaits. He works soft in the bridle, yields, side-passes, pivots, and transitions seamlessly from a collected frame to a loose rein. Lightly started over fences, he handles "scary" jump fill and small logs with complete confidence.
Trail, Hunter Pace & Traffic Safe: A star on hunter paces and trail rides, Commander crosses water, bridges, and swims effortlessly. He is completely unbothered by speeding bikes, trains, loud farm machinery, or deer jumping from the brush.
Ground Manners & Temperament: Exceptionally friendly, loves people, and is always the first to greet you at the gate. He handles all routine barn tasks quietly, lives outside 24/7 with mixed herds, and stays the same reliable horse whether ridden daily or every few weeks.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official Pre Sale Vet Check Examination Form (Dr. Holly Lounsbery, DVM) updated to 2026. The exam confirmed normal temperature (98.9°F), pulse (40), and respiration (16), no lameness in hand or on circles, clean flexion tests, and healthy barefoot hooves on a regular 8-week trim cycle.
