If you are looking for a striking year-round buckskin coat, elite Missouri Fox Trotter bloodlines, and an ultra-trustworthy, bombproof mind, Zeke ("L.D. Easter Zekial") is a once-in-a-lifetime dream gelding! Standing 14.2 hands high, this 7-year-old registered MFTHBA gelding is sired by Top 5 Breeding Sire Southern Sunrises Hotshot and was hand-raised and started right on master breeder Larry Stevens' farm.
Royal MFTHBA Pedigree: Sired by Southern Sunrises Hotshot (by Hall of Famer Southern Sunrise) and out of Sinatra's Baby Girl (by Sinatra), giving him legendary athletic genetics and high natural tail carriage.
Smooth-As-Silk Gaits & Lope: Effortlessly enters and holds a natural, smooth-as-silk foxtrot on a loose rein, paired with a smooth lope on both leads.
Ultra-Bombproof & Desensitized: Ridden at parades, trail rides, and even a rain-soaked motorcycle rally in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas! Unbothered by barking dogs (loves giving dog rides!), dump trucks, semi-trucks, 4-wheelers, gunfire, tarps, flags, and cattle.
Versatile Trail & Mountain Veteran: Extensive Ozark Mountain trail miles under his belt, including Compton Hollow, Wilson Creek, Hot Springs National Forest, Pinecrest Horse Camp, and the James River. Traverses rocky terrain easily on naturally tough black feet.
Smart & Easy-Going Manners: Greets you at the gate, side-passes up to mounting obstacles with just a wave of your hand, loads effortlessly, stands hobbled without worries, and stays the exact same honest mount even after months of pasture turnout.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official MFTHBA Certificate of Registration (#19-103838) and an Equine Inspection Form / Patient Chart from Animal Medical Center, PC (Dr. Colleen McKay, DVM) dated July 17, 2026, certifying normal vitals (BCS 5/9, temp 100.3°F, heart/lungs clear), sound movement under saddle at a walk and foxtrot, and zero effusion, pain, or crepitation, paired with an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn August 20, 2026.
