Meet Terrance! We acquired him from Mountain States Retired Racehorse Rehoming as our first experience with horse ownership. He has been pleasant to own, but we have come to the tough realization that he needs an owner with more confidence than we can offer at this time.

He is just over 16 hands, and has been filling out nicely since owning. He has front shoes and on a regular farrier schedule.

He loves to run, as you would expect from an OTTB. He learns really fast, but his focus needs work. When we are consistent with training he shows signs of promise towards being a great event horse. We just don’t have the resources or experience to give him the consistency he needs.

We wouldn’t describe him as a “project”. He’s just young and acts like a toddler. He does great with halter and bit (copper). He is getting better at lunging, and does good tacked up (English), but will challenge a young rider. Happy to send pics and videos.
