If you've been searching for that big, fancy, eye-catching gelding who can truly do it all, Eclipse might just be your dream horse!
Want to go trail riding one day, compete at a dressage show the next, enjoy some jumping the following afternoon, drive into town, and then head to a western dressage show over the weekend? With Eclipse, you can do it all—and look pretty spectacular doing it!
Eclipse is exceptionally well broke to both ride and drive. He's the kind of horse that makes everything fun, whether you're looking to be competitive in the show ring or simply enjoy a dependable, versatile partner.
Under saddle, Eclipse is an absolute pleasure. We've shown him in dressage, where he was a complete star and genuinely seemed to love every minute of it! He has one of the smoothest, most comfortable trots you could ever ask to sit, making him a joy to ride. He's athletic, willing, and has the kind of presence that naturally draws attention.
He's equally enjoyable outside the arena. Eclipse will confidently head down the trail alone or with a group and has proven himself to be an honest, dependable partner. Whether you're schooling dressage movements, popping over jumps, or enjoying a relaxing ride through the countryside, he's happy to participate.
In harness, Eclipse is just as impressive! He's extremely honest and reliable to hook up and drive, whether you're heading down the road, driving into town, or enjoying a leisurely outing. He also drives beautifully as part of a pair, adding even more versatility to an already talented gelding.
And let's talk about his looks! Eclipse is absolutely stunning. He's the kind of horse that turns heads everywhere he goes. His impressive presence, beautiful movement, and natural elegance make him just as enjoyable to watch as he is to ride.
Beyond his talent, Eclipse is easy to have around. He's easy to catch in the pasture, gets along well with other horses, and is happy living either outside or in a stall. He's never had any health issues and has been a pleasure to own and work with.
What makes Eclipse so special is that you don't have to choose between fancy and fun. He's talented and eye-catching enough to stand out in the dressage ring, yet honest and dependable enough to enjoy out on the trails. Add in his driving experience, wonderful rideability, and versatility, and you have a horse that's genuinely hard to find.
If you're looking for a big, beautiful gelding with the movement and presence to earn attention in the show ring, the dependability to enjoy on the trails, and the ability to drive just about anywhere, Eclipse checks all the boxes.
