Goliath, the gentle giant you have been dreaming of! He is a registered 6-year-old crossbred gelding that is a Percheron x Quarter Horse and stands 16h. Goliath is one of the coolest draft crosses! He has so much presence and substance to him. What makes him really stand out above all is his personality, eagerness to please, and his cool draft horse demeanor. Under saddle, Goliath is very broke and user friendly. He rides English and Western; he has even been started on jumping. Goliath loves to trail ride, ride through the open fields, or down the busy roads into town. He rides the same in large groups, crowded arenas, or out by himself. He is very smooth and comfortable to ride, like sitting in a rocking chair. Goliath is never too forward, yet he is not lazy. He is soft in the face with great body control, side passes, pivots, walks, trots, and lopes off correctly on cue. Goliath has truly been trail tested. He will ride through the busy traffic in town, navigate through all of the obstacles, crosses water, logs, ditches, down timber, teeter totters, bridges, and even the train tracks. Don't let his size deter you, he is happy to stand at the mounting block for his rider to safely and easily mount. Goliath rides bareback in a snaffle bit or bridle bit. He is great with the tarp, ball, drags anything behind him, and entertains any other chaos you can imagine. Whether the kids are using him like a jungle gym, or you're riding him to the train tracks as a train roars by, Goliath takes it all! He is truly a gentle giant, and a solid family horse under saddle. He has had many miles both inside and outside of the arena. Goliath is an easy keeper, and an absolute joy to have around. He has great ground manners, ties, cross ties, bathes, loads, and hauls with ease. He does well in a stall or turned out in a pasture setting.

Goliath is great for the vet, farrier, chiropractor, and wins the heart of everyone he meets. Goliath truly loves people and loves every bit of attention that he can get. With his fun personality, and gorgeous golden buckskin color, he is able to attract all of the attention! Goliath even comes with a small bag of tricks; he sits and lays down on cue... even when cued by the kids! He enjoys being groomed and petted by the children as well. You will not have to go out and catch him... he will come to you with an eager attitude every time!
