Artemis is a handsome 16 year old (2009) warmblood (Mecklenburger) gelding. Lovely, kind, energetic with lovely manners. Laid-back in the stall and gets along in pasture with a mixed herd (mares, geldings, varying ages). This guy needs to have a person of his own. Like all performance-type horses of this age, he would not pass flexion on his hocks. Does well with a little bute or on Equioxx as he was a jumper before and has some occasional soreness. He is not currently on any maintenance. He is LOVELY and is learning a lot about dressage. He also would not mind driving and has started to learn about the cart. This is NOT a finished dressage horse, but someone you can do something with and take to a show to have fun with. Willing and uncomplicated. I will not be letting him go back into a jumping home because he HATES it. He will make your life easy and look good doing it! However, he is not a beginner horse because he is forward.
