Beautiful 14 hand horse for sale. This was my horse my parents got a few years ago, but I’m currently in the process of moving out and don’t have the ability to bring her with me. She was a mustang caught on the reservations, and is a timid soul. She’s always done well with me, especially when I can consistently work with her, but she does tend to avoid people she doesn’t know or trust. Eager to please, rarely has attitude or is difficult, and is pretty smart. She is gentle, we’ve had our younger children brush and lead her around and she was great. She knows most of the basic riding cues, only problem is that I’ve hit a wall when it comes to cantering. She’s done it but will often get confused or afraid and slow down or stop, and I don’t have the skills/time to overcome it with her. She will need an intermediate rider that can invest some time and work with her. She’s sure footed, always been fine around cattle, she’d probably make a good ranch horse or someone’s personal horse. I used to frequently take her on rides down our street, through neighboring fields, or even just in our training pen and she did really well, but lately I haven’t had the time/energy and she’s gotten rusty. I will be working with her again in preparation to sell her, and it really shouldn’t take too long to get her back in it. Side note: We ride all of our horses bitless, so I don’t know how she would do with one. She typically does well just being asked to do something gently, and if she understands she will usually do it willingly, while tends to fight being pressured or forced into it.
