Bred for a good mind and athletic ability. This cross is very personable, gentle, cowy & trainable. Born solid black, she's now a gunmetal/steely grey with black mane and black/grey tail. Has been extensively handled, started under saddle as a 3 y.o, has over a year under saddle prior to injury this spring. UTD on everything. Feet kept on a 5 week cycle. Listing her as a broodmare prospect as rehabbing will be necessary to continue her riding career. Vet gave her an 80% likelihood of being competition sound (barrels) I have been rehabbing her but not nearly as consistent as ideal. Upon coming lame we did workup with local vet and were referred out of state for CT imaging & treatment. Results were: deep digital flexor tendon tear on one, bilateral collateral cartilage fractures (sidebones) and collateral ligament tears bilateral. We proceeded with treatment. Will likely always require front shoes to support sidebones. All vet records and imaging available. Breeding doesn't interest me. Priced at a considerable loss in hopes to land this sweet mare in the right hands with the time and resources she deserves. I don't want this girl wasting away in a pasture. Tuesday is the sweetest mare and was a breeze to start under saddle. Rides well in arena, comfortable gaits, light & responsive and great out on trails. Attended one beginning cow clinic and rode nice. She loves to play in the river & flood waters. Playful by nature & as gentle as they come. I will keep rehabbing her and as the weather improves and more time allows she may just end up staying here. The perfect fit home is the only way she sells. Serious inquiries only. Lots of pix and video available.
