Sophia is a pretty Solid sooty buckskin 15 hh 5 year old Rocky/Kentucky cross mare.
She is the perfect size with a solid build and good bone that she can carry anyone who can ride. Sophia is a gem on the trail! She has a nice walk on her and not one you have to peddle. Sophia has gone through rivers, muddy trails, up mountains and even swam in lakes. She has a nice stocky build that's built to last. Sophia can handle technical trails without missing a beat, carefully picking her foot placement to ensure he and his rider are safe. Sophia handles what the mountain trails have surprised him with ease and confidence taking care of his rider. Sophia is also trained to come to a mounting block for easy mounting and dismounting. She has a smooth gait, rocking-chair lope, stop and backup. Sophia has been exposed to different obstacles and approaches them with confidence and curiosity. She is sacked out and will go through our obstacle course which includes a teddee todder bridge, pool noodles, tarps, and logs.
She been around dogs and loves to be groomed by the kids. Sophia has been rode by lots of different riders from kid, mom, dad, friends and more. She is the same horse after time off whether it's a couple days or weeks.
Sophia is an easy keeper, comes to grain to be caught, a good for the farrier, and good to load. If you're looking for a solid trail mount, a horse for the family, one to enjoy the trails and have fun on in the arena Sophia is your girl.
