This is a sweetheart of a horse. She will catch you in the pasture and loves attention. She’s been the horse we use when friends/family come over and want to ride. She’s uncomplicated, and enjoys trails and isn’t spooky. She’s very stocky, soft kind eye, petite baby doll head with a great hip and tough hooves. With a child or novice she will follow another horse anywhere. She’s more whoa than go. Our ideal home would be as a kids horse that will love on her and she would watch for the school bus and meet her best friend. She’s crossed bridges, water, exposed to ranch life. Has some solid professional training but it has been unused for a long time. She’s been patient and tolerant of many beginners. We just had her teeth floated, and our vet thought she was the prettiest and kindest mare, current on all shots, she’s an easy keeper, never sick or lame and very sound. She would be happiest not left confined, bored in a stall, and her preference is not to be stuck with arena riding. She will ride in an arena but she’s been on trails and a ranch for so long she has grown unfamiliar with arena riding. She doesn’t do anything bad. It’s simply obvious that her happy place is outside. A totally different energy of happiness when you ride her outside versus inside. We are seeking a trail riding home. She is an outdoor ranch life type of horse. Video of her being ridden by a novice young girl on trails available by request. Only selling because she’s not being ridden enough and we have switched to gaited horses.
